The Foxcroft FX-1000P-B Bufferless Amperometric Chlorine Residual Analyzer is accurate and environmentally friendly, requiring absolutely no chemicals or reagents.
It is ideally suited for online monitoring of Free chlorine residuals in drinking water or potable process waters that have a stable pH at or below 7.0, and low total alkalinity.
Residual readings are instantaneous and do not rely on the “sample and hold” method. The standard operating range is 0-5 PPM, and is field adjustable.
The measuring cell uses a large 24K bare gold electrode rather than a membrane that can foul or clog. Continuous cell mixing and cleaning with solid-state analog electronics provide stable, drift free, residual readings and output signals. Electronic isolation eliminates problems from “ground-loop” and ensures operator safety. For control applications we recommend our model FX-1000P
