The Foxcroft FX-1500 single channel fixed gas detector can alert you to toxic gas leaks before they develop into dangerous emergencies using maintenance free electrochemical sensing technology.
The remote display mounts in a safe area so you can assess the status of a potentially hazardous area before you enter. Warning and Danger alarm levels are set within OSHA and NIOSH limits. A third low level alarm alerts personnel to slow leaks before they become a major problem. A fourth “cell failure” alarm level indicates faults with the sensor electronics or wiring to the sensor.
Alarm trip points can be used to signal external beacons, horns, auto-dialers, fans, or emergency shutoff valves via dry relay contact outputs. Special alarm levels and ranges are available on written request.
An optional battery backup/surge protector is also available for applications where AC power is unreliable, or must be maintained in the event of a power failure.
