What's The Difference?

The FX-300-pH / ORP combination sensor performance is enhanced  by two main features:

• A solid state non-porous reference system optimized per application that selectively allows ion transfer while preventing fluids and gases from entering the junction and contacting the reference electrode. This makes the sensor:
  
  • Less susceptible to volatile organic solvents
  • Impervious to ammonia, chlorine and sulfide gases
  • Capable of scraping and chemical cleaning to remove fouling
  • Less susceptible to drying out
  • Experience lower drift and maintenance due to reduced aging and deterioration
• In many cases, the sensing element is specialized to survive in harsh process solutions while providing better sensitivity, accuracy and repeatability.
  • Special pH glass formulation for true HF resistance, not just thicker glass
  • Brine (saturated sodium) resistance pH glass
  • Wide range, high pH glass elements from -0.5 to +14.5 pH.
  • Thick wall, low profile parabolic glass for extreme break resistance

In house chemists select the best and most economical combination of body material, reference material, pH glass, and other special features if needed to perform in your application.

Modular, easy to use transmitters without the whistle and bell features you don't need.

Plastic sensor bodies are matched to your temperature and chemical resistance requirements and ruggedly built to withstand the handling found in various industrial processes.

Materials include CPVC, Radel™, PEEK, Ryton™; double junctions are standard with optional triple junction.

Additional features can be added to each basic sensor, for example you can add a tip guard and solvent resistance to a saturated sodium resistant sensor.

Body styles to suit any installation:

• 1-1/2", 2" or 2-1/2" diameter Tri-Clover 316SS mounting hardware
• Valve retractable Hot-Tap insertion hardware

Waterproofing options range from basic protection from moisture, rain or wash-down to fully submersible with or without a standpipe.

Easier sensor handling in long cable runs with the optional digital extension cables. The relatively short sensor cable snap connects to a permanently installed long extension cable using a NEMA 6P water resistant pin connectors. These are only available for use with preamplified analog sensors and smart digital sensors.

We can also provide competitive replacements for virtually any brand of pH / ORP sensor. Specify the brand, the temperature element and model number of the transmitter to be used.

Volatile Organic Solvent & Dissolved Gas Resistant

For processes with aggressive gases such as ammonia or chlorine and volatile organic solvents. Also for applications requiring strong chemical cleaning.
